He has led and coordinated numerous EU-funded and international projects, working closely with European institutions, United Nations agencies, and global policy networks.
Throughout his career, he has been recognised with multiple awards and distinctions for pioneering initiatives and first-of-their-kind projects in his field. As Co-Founder and CEO of VITA PolicyLab, he provides the organisation’s strategic leadership, policy vision, and international direction, ensuring alignment with global standards and funding frameworks while shaping the long-term impact of the lab.

Cenk Sönmez is a creative technology specialist with expertise in VR, AR, XR, digital twin technologies, volumetric video, and drone-based systems. His work focuses on designing immersive, high-fidelity environments that bridge physical and digital worlds for policy, education, and simulation use cases.
He is the holder of a registered utility model in the field of VR and has an international patent application related to immersive systems. As Co-Founder and CTO of VITA PolicyLab, he leads the organisation’s technology strategy and platform development, translating complex institutional needs into scalable, accessible, and measurable immersive solutions.

Burak Kızılöbek is a creative technology specialist who combines performance marketing–driven video production and digital marketing experience with strong software development skills. He develops Python- and JavaScript-based automation workflows, custom Adobe scripting solutions, and AI-supported “vibe coding” practices for visual content production.
By blending a data-driven design approach with an engineering mindset, he enables projects to achieve scalable production models and high technical efficiency, enhancing both creative output and operational performance.
